Ledge provides web-based software that helps recreational sports league organizers manage league registration, teams, schedules, staffing, communications, payments, and organizer accounts.
This Privacy Policy describes the information Ledge may process when organizers, administrators, players, registrants, staff members, and website visitors interact with Ledge. The legal entity that operates Ledge is Lachlan Forgan, a sole proprietor.
Some information processed through Ledge is submitted or managed by league organizers on behalf of their leagues. Organizers are responsible for determining what information they collect through their leagues and for providing any notices or obtaining any permissions that may be required for their activities.
1. Information We Collect
The information Ledge processes depends on how the service is used. Information may be provided directly by organizers, administrators, registrants, players, staff members, or other users.

- Schedules and operational information, including games, events, staffing assignments, and other league scheduling data.
- Communications and messages sent or stored through Ledge or generated in connection with league administration.

- Administrator prompts and relevant league information submitted to or selected for optional AI-powered features.
- Technical and usage information generated when users interact with the service, such as information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.

3. League Organizers and Information They Collect
League organizers may configure registration forms, maintain rosters, send communications, manage schedules, collect payments, and otherwise use Ledge to administer their leagues. As a result, organizers may determine what information is requested from players, registrants, staff members, or other participants.
If you provide information to a league through Ledge, that league organizer may be able to access and use the information you submit. Questions about why a particular league requests information or how the organizer uses that information should generally be directed to the applicable league organizer.
League organizers determine much of the information collected through their leagues and how that information is used. Ledge processes that information as necessary to provide the services requested by the organizer. Ledge separately processes account, billing, security, support, and service-operation information for its own business purposes.
4. Payments and Stripe
Card payments made through Ledge are processed using Stripe. Payment information may be submitted directly to Stripe as part of the payment process. Ledge may receive and maintain payment-related records such as transaction identifiers, payment status, amounts, and information connecting a payment with an account, registration, or league.
Ledge does not claim to store full payment-card numbers. Stripe's processing of payment information is also subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy practices.
5. Authentication, Hosting, and Infrastructure Providers
Ledge relies on third-party technology providers to operate the service. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to Ledge.
- Supabase provides authentication and data-storage infrastructure.
- Vercel provides hosting and related application infrastructure.
- Resend provides transactional email services.
- Stripe provides payment-processing services.
- Cloudflare Turnstile is used to help protect public forms from automated abuse and malicious activity.
6. Google Sign-In
Ledge may offer Google sign-in as an optional authentication method. If you choose to sign in using Google, Ledge may receive information associated with your Google account that is made available through the authentication process, such as your name, email address, account identifier, and other authorized profile information.
Ledge's use of information received from Google is limited to the functionality associated with authentication and related account features, subject to the permissions requested by Ledge and Google's applicable policies.
7. Analytics and PostHog
Ledge may use PostHog for optional analytics. Optional analytics are used only after a website visitor accepts optional analytics.
When enabled, PostHog may collect information about how visitors interact with Ledge, such as pages viewed, features used, device or browser information, and similar usage information, depending on Ledge's analytics configuration.
8. Optional AI Features
Ledge may provide optional artificial-intelligence features for league administrators. When an administrator chooses to use these features, administrator prompts and relevant league information may be processed through OpenAI in order to generate the requested output.
Ledge does not claim ownership of information submitted to OpenAI or of AI-generated outputs. Ledge does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated outputs.
Administrators are responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before relying on them, publishing them, communicating them to league participants, or using them to make decisions.
9. How We Share Information
Ledge may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate the service, fulfill user requests, protect the service, or comply with legal obligations.
- With league organizers and authorized league administrators as necessary to provide league-management functionality.
- With service providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Stripe, Cloudflare, PostHog when optional analytics are enabled, and OpenAI when optional AI features are used.
- When required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or valid governmental requests.
- When reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, violations of applicable agreements, or harm to Ledge, its users, or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, restructuring, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable requirements.
10. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Ledge, maintain accounts and league records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. The length of time may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.
Information may be retained for different periods depending on why it was collected, whether an organizer continues to maintain it through the service, operational and security requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable legal requirements.
11. Data Security
Ledge uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No online service, storage system, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and for promptly notifying Ledge if they believe an account has been compromised.
12. Your Choices and Requests
Depending on the context, users may be able to review or update certain information through their Ledge account or by contacting the applicable league organizer.
Requests concerning information controlled or collected by an individual league organizer may need to be handled by that organizer. Procedures for submitting privacy-related requests directly to Ledge and the extent to which Ledge can fulfill particular requests are support@ledgeleague.com. If the information is controlled by a league organizer, we may direct the request to that organizer.
13. Children's Information
Ledge may process information concerning minors when that information is provided by a parent, guardian, league organizer, or other authorized adult in connection with league registration or administration. A child of any age may be represented in Ledge through a player or roster profile created or managed by an authorized adult.
Individuals under 13 may not independently create or access a Ledge account. Players ages 13 through 17 may use player-facing features only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. League organizer and administrator accounts are limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old.
League organizers should not rely on this Privacy Policy as a substitute for determining and complying with any obligations applicable to their own collection or use of information concerning minors. Before intentionally marketing Ledge to youth sports organizations, Ledge may update its practices and notices as appropriate.
14. International and Regional Privacy Matters
Ledge is based in the United States and is currently intended primarily for organizations and users in the United States.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Ledge may update this Privacy Policy as its service, technology, or practices change. When the policy is updated, Ledge may revise the effective date shown above and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we may provide notice through the service, by email, or by another reasonable method.
